Bangkok: Scenes from Wat Pho

Today I spent a lot of time walking around a little adrift in the oppressive Bangkok heat, took a boat ride on the Chao Phraya river, and got ripped off by more than one tuk tuk driver.  All good fun.

Highlight of the day was Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha.

Some things were closed today because it is Visakha Bucha Day, a holy day for Buddhists marking "the beginning of the Buddhist Era 2,555 yeas ago."
